Alder Sales Corporation (Alder's) was founded in September, 1935.

The original founders of Alder's were G. Alfred Alder, President and General Manager; Lindon B. Alder, Vice-president; Donald B. Alder, Secretary/Treasurer; George B. Alder, Board of Directors; and Gerald B. Alder, Board of Directors.

In 1940, Lindon became the company's president, and Donald took over as the company's general manager. Donald became the company's president in 1962 and CEO in 1975 when his son Matt L. Alder took over as Company President.

The organizational structure changed again in 1980 when Matt became the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, and has been the driving force behind the rapid growth and diversification which has evolved Alder's into the company it is today.

As Alder's continues to grow, the fourth generation has started to emerge. Cory Alder joined the company in 1998. Cory is Vice President over sales and will continue to grow with Alder's as he helps develop new sales and key product lines.

Jacob Alder joined Alder's on a full time basis in 2001. Jake is Vice President and office staff Manager. Although his strength is in organizational management he is also directly responsible for increasing sales for several of our major product lines.

Alder's success is directly related to our quality products. Our Daylighting products consist of Kalwall, Structures Unlimited (SUI), Hopes, Super Sky and Solatube. In the space management products, Modernfold, Skyfold, Dorma glass, and Moveo are the top products; with Smoke Guard, Stobich, Cornell TranZform, Total Door and McKeon being foremost in Smoke and Fire Control Systems. These key products have made a difference in our Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada Territories.
